The founders of Militbox aim to help those caring for people experiencing high stress levels induced by communication difficulties related to chronic illnesses such as Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson. In time, there is expectation to branch into adjacent categories defined as neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD & Autism.
The Milbotix SmartSocks™ vision is to increase acceptance and adherence for people who find wearables overly complex, uncomfortable, and/or stigmatising. Milbotix was born in the UK but is globally scalable. The rapid rate of increase of predicted dementia sufferers worldwide is set to increase by 40% to 78mio by 2030.
