Michael’s experience includes cross-border M&A and Commercial team with GKN, negotiating projects in the Far East, the Americas and Europe, helping grow the London office as VC partner of US law firm Dorsey, and then McDermott, Will & Emery, before starting his own practice 10 years ago. He has been recognised by Chambers Guide as a leading lawyer in his field for venture capital. Having acted for investors such as Intel Capital, Carlyle and Motorola Ventures (on investments into young technology companies), Cisco (on complex supply and collaboration projects), and corporates such as Pearson Education (advising on the acquisition of the UK examining board, Edexcel) and The Jim Henson Corp, he now focuses on tech and IP-rich ventures from creative media to AI recognition technology.
