Laura Hui Jesudason
Laura’s background is in financial services and technology with a focus on sales, marketing and capital raising. Most recently, Laura sat on the Board of One Sky, a non-profit focused on responsive care and early education of vulnerable young children. She was responsible as a fiduciary to steer them towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical and legal governance and financial management policies. She assisted the global business development teams and their fundraising strategies.
Prior to this, Laura worked for CQS, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund where she was responsible for Investor Relations for Asia. Her responsibilities were to acquire and maintain new Asia Pacific investors for CQS’ alternative funds. In addition, to leading all aspects of the capital raising activity with a variety of private and institutional investors.
She previously worked for Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong and Tokyo in capital market sales teams. Laura also worked for KPMG Canada/ Hong Kong as a Business Development Manager in the Technology sector and IBM Canada where she spent 4 years as software account manager selling to Canadian retail and distribution clients.
